I really loved the song and automatically make me think in my relationship with my hubby, we are so happy together and we raise up each other all the time, so I took some of our picture and made a grid using Paige Taylor mini block and ephemera, I also made some stitching, and here's the result.

La canción me gusto mucho y automaticamente  me hizo pensar en mi relación con mi marido, somos muy partners y siempre nos estamos animando el uno al otro, asi que busque algunas fotos y use una cuadricula con los papeles de los mini block de la cloeccion turn the page de Paige Taylor, sus adornos y costura de máquina, y resultó super entretenido.

Challenge # 48: Favorite Quote

Hi Ladies is time for a new challenge at Challenge YOUrself and we are asking you to make a layout using a picture of YOU and your favorite Quote.

Hola Amigas llego la hora de un nuevo reto en Challenge YOUrself y esta vez queremos que hagan una layout con una foto de ustedes y su frase favorita.

It took me a while to choose my quote and finally when I was going to my Instagram feed I saw it and I love it:

"NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL. GET UP, DRESS UP, SHOW UP, AND NEVER GIVE UP"

I really felt it close, my year has been full of situations and I decide to do that...get up, dress up, show up and never give up".
For my layout I used Paige Taylor's Turn the page papers and ephemera and a cut file for my quote. I also used stitch over the words.

Me costo harto elegir mi frase, pero una tarde mirando mi instagram la encontré:

"NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL. GET UP, DRESS UP, SHOW UP, AND NEVER GIVE UP"

No importa como te sientas. Levantate, vistete, aparece y nunca te rindas.

Me sentí muy identificada con esa frase, creo que resume muy bien todo lo que este año ha sido para mi.
La layout la hice con papeles y ephemera de la colección Turn the Page de Paige Taylor, letras que corté en mi Cameo y la máquina de coser que la pase sobre las letras.

Negative Space/ Espacio Negativo

Hi! Is 7th and is time for a new challenge at Challenge Yourself and now we want to play with negative space and don't forget that YOU MUST be in the picture of your layout.

Hola Amigas, ya estamos a 7 y es tiempo para un nuevo reto en Challenge YOUrself. Esta vez queremos que usen Espacio Negativo y recuerden que deben salir en la foto:

For my layout I used a base paper of Paige Taylor and a Silhouette Store cut file. The picture was taken on Valentines Day and I loved how it looks in black and white. I printed my journaling on vellum and sew it to my page.

Para mi layout use un papel base de Paige Taylor y un archivo de corte de Silhouette. La foto la tomamos el 14 de Febrero y me encanto como se ve en blanco y negro. Imprimi el Journaling en papel diamante y los cosi. espero les guste.

Hi Girls, is time for a new challenge at Challenge YOUrself and we have a great and fun challenge. As always your layout must have a picture of YOU on it and this month we are asking you to use Sewing (machine or handmade you pick).

Hola amigas, es tiempo de un nuevo reto en Challenge YOUrself  y tenemos un reto genial y divertido. Como siempre queremos que hagas un layout con una foto donde salgas TU y este mes te pedimos que incluyas costura en tu layout (ya sea a mano o máquina).

 

I really love this challenge cause I enjoy sewing very much, so I went a little wild and use String Art as sewing technique. I turn 41 in August and I love this picture of me with my cake "candle", it was a familiar celebration with lots of love and a great cake that my sister made for me. She´s the best cake maker ever. I choose Paige Taylor´s Fancy Free collection, love the colors and the flowers that i cut using fussy cutting. I really love the final result.

Adore este reto porque me encanta la costura, asi que me volví un poco loca y use el String Art como forma de costura. Hace poco cumplí 41 años y adore este foto con mi vela y la riquísima torta que me hizo mi hermana que es la mejor pastelera del mundo. Fue una celebración familiar, linda y con la mejor compañia. Elegí papeles y adornos de la colección Fancy Free de Paige Taylor y adore cortar esas flores que son maravillosas. Adoré como quedo este layout.
